X/Y Stereo Multi-Power Studio and Location 1/2" Condenser Microphone
The Stereo wonder. The NT4 solves the age-old problem of stereo recording by eliminating the need to purchase matched pairs and the associated complex set-up bars and adaptors to get professional results.
With a fixed 90 Degree X/Y configuration and perfectly matched stereo condenser capsules, the NT4 lets you record any source with immaculate stereo detail.
The NT4 has a 128 dB dynamic range, 143 dBA SPL and low self-noise. Offering selectable battery or phantom power operation with power indicator light, the NT4 is ideally suited to both studio and location recording.
The NT4 comes supplied in a custom carry case with a windshield, XLR to mini-jack and dual XLR cables for portable DAT or professional balanced input connection.

Reviews
"...the RØDE NT4 is a stereo mic that travels easily, can be powered from a battery and sounds like it costs nearly twice as much. Anyone seriously into stereo recording should give the NT4 a listen." - Mix, November 2002
"The NT4 makes stereo miking very convenient and its ability to run from battery power makes it an obvious companion for portable DAT or Minidisc recorders where phantom power is not available." - Sound on Sound, August 2002
Testimonials
"The NT4 Stereo mic I use a lot for stereo horns over head, also for recording straight to DAT on a live performance, it works and sounds really good" - Bootsy Collins
"Here's my vote for a realy great low-cost microphone.... The Rode NT-4. Frequently it is my FIRST CHOICE for acoustic Guitar and similar." - Bruce Swedien
"My favourite... for drum overhead. Due to perfect phase from its fixed X/Y pattern, it’s allowed me to turn up the overhead, which, in this case is more of a full kit sound." - Brent Rawlings, Kings of Leon FOH
